Hong Yip won the Services Best Training Award

The Security Services Best Training Award 2015 was jointly organized by the Crime Prevention Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force (Force) and the Security Services Training Board of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) and supported by the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority (SGSIA).  It aimed at encouraging industry members to develop long-term training programmes to enhance the quality and professional competence of their employees.  This would help the Force to maintain law and order, and provide an environment for the long-term development of the industry.

A selection panel comprising representatives of the Force, VTC and SGSIA assessed the resources allocated for training activities by the companies participating in the award scheme.  Judging criteria included the number of training hours, the staff members involved, the coverage of the training courses and the involvement and support of the management, etc.
